Purpose: To be a minister of justice

Areas of Interest: Law, Education, & Entertainment (Storytelling)
My name is Jenny. I am a 5' 1" Asian American female. The Pen is my sword. War & Truth, my power and protection. For freedom, justice, and dignity for all.
simply, LADY JUSTICE
Currently, I am a student at Pepperdine University School of Law. In law, my interests are in civil litigation and appellate advocacy. Additionally, I am a storyteller. My specialty is to write true stories, or stories inspired by true events. I am humbled to have had the privilege to witness all walks and facets of life. Now I stand here today to serve and not be served.
For Summer 2020, I will be externing for the Honorable Michael P. Linfield at Los Angeles Superior Court. For Fall 2020, I am slated to serve as Legal Intern in the Civil Law Division in the Office of the Attorney General in California's Department of Justice ("DOJ"). The intention is to do justice in California; and more specifically, in Southern California (preferably Los Angeles or Orange County).
Previously, I worked in Hollywood, the epicenter of where storytelling meets filmmaking, as a quality assurance and data analyst at CBS Interactive, a part of CBS Corporation (now, ViacomCBS). To elaborate, I was an analyst at the intersection of entertainment and technology, at which point I became a whistleblower and corporate asset-turned-liability and thus a target of politically-driven elimination. Prior to my experience in the private sector, I was a teacher in public and quasi-public (charter) schools to disadvantaged students.
For my education, I studied for the D.Phil. (Ph.D.) as a Clarendon Scholar at Oxford University in England with an interest in the politics and economics of higher education. Prior to that, I earned two master's degrees; one from Oxford University and the other from University of Southern California. For my undergraduate studies, I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was nominated (and selected) for Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, among others.
In my spare time, I read the Wall Street Journal, take full advantage of my spa membership at Burke Williams Spa, drink wine (or champagne) and tea, shop online, dine out, meditate, and sleep.
Every year, I travel to a different country and so far, I have visited 30+ countries throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. Previously, I lived in England, Sweden, Taiwan, and South Korea. My favorite place on Earth is lazing in an isolated bungalow in the Maldives, distant from the madness that is vanity affairs with modern life.
Currently, I live in Malibu, California with my dog (a Schnoodle / Maltipoo), named Oscar.
