Purpose: To be a minister of the law.
Mission: To protect and preserve the dignity, safety, rights and liberties of persons in matters of private and public interest.
Areas of Interest: Law, Entertainment (Storytelling), & Education
My name is Jenny. I am a 5' 1" Asian American female. The Pen is my sword. War & Truth, my power and protection. For freedom, justice, and dignity for all.
simply, LADY JUSTICE
Currently, I am a student at Pepperdine University School of Law. In law, my interests are in civil litigation and appellate advocacy. And in the coming summer of 2020, I am slated to extern for the Honorable Michael P. Linfield in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Moreover, I am a storyteller. Using words as my tool of choice, my specialty is to write true stories, or stories inspired by true events.
Previously, I worked in Hollywood, the epicenter of where storytelling meets filmmaking, as a quality assurance and data analyst at CBS Interactive, a part of CBS Corporation (now, ViacomCBS). To elaborate, I was an analyst at the intersection of entertainment and technology, at which point I became a whistleblower and thereby a corporate asset-turned-liability targeted for elimination.
Prior to my entry into the private sector, I was for a brief period a ground-level public servant—i.e., teacher—in the public and charter school system.
For my education, I studied for the D.Phil. (Ph.D.) as a Clarendon Scholar at Oxford University in England with an interest in the politics of higher education. Prior to that, I earned two master's degrees from Oxford University and the University of Southern California. For my undergraduate studies, I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was nominated (and selected) for Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, among others.
In my spare time, I read the Wall Street Journal, take full advantage of my spa membership at Burke Williams Spa, drink wine (or champagne) and tea, shop, dine out, meditate, and sleep.
Every year, I travel to a different country and so far, I have visited 30+ countries throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. My favorite place on Earth is lazing in an isolated bungalow in the Maldives.
Previously, I lived in Western Europe, East Asia, and various parts throughout the Southern California region of the U.S.A.
Currently, I live in Malibu, California with my dog (a Schnoodle / Maltipoo), named Oscar.
